Have to Give Credit!
I got one idea for my diet from the Body For Life Program. If you are not familiar with this program, let me try and quickly sum it up. First, you buy this book written by Bill Phillips. The book covers both the physical and mental aspects of fitness. It provides a diet which consists of 6 small meals a day and it gives you 1 "free day" a week where you can do whatever you want. The exercise program is 3 days of cardio, consisting of a 20 minute interval workout, and 3 days of lifting, alternating muscle groups.
I like the "free day" concept, so I work that in to my routine!

My Workout
My workout is pretty cut and dry. I do 48 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. Currently, I'm running on the treadmill, but I have done swimming, elliptical and outdoor running as well.
I lift 3 days a week. I use light weights with high reps. This will not get you big, but it will tone you up. Each lifting day, I work my abs. Monday, I do chest and triceps; Wednesday, I do legs and shoulders; Friday, I do biceps and back.
Remember - before you do any working out, please talk to your doctor!
I'll have the details up here soon, but in the meantime, email me for the details.

My Diet
I'm doing a maintenance diet now. I'm not trying to lose or gain, and this seems to be working. If I were trying to lose, I would probably have to cut out some calories.
Breakfast
1 cup or Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal with 1 cup of skim milk
2 scoops of Isopure protein mixed with 1 cup of skim milk and one cup of water
1 cup of orange juice
1 multivitamin, 1 Zinc, 1 vitamin C, 1 Lysine
Lunch
Usually either tuna or turkey on whole wheat (I read the labels on the bread to make sure there is no sugar, aka high fructose corn syrup, added!)
1 grapefruit or orange
Snack
Met-RX protein plus bar
Dinner
Usually a chicken breast, piece of fish, turkey burger, or a top round london broil using my clenched fist to measure the portion
Veggies usually spinach, broccoli
Baked potato or 1 cup of brown rice
Before Bed
Next Proteins Designer Whey w/ Glycerlean (either the Malted Muscles or the Choc Lats - I don't like the Abs Berry)
